About

I was born and raised in 70s/80s North Beach, San Francisco - of Calabrese, Cajun, and Krakówian descent.

I'm a sometime illustrator and designer, and jv muralist.

I'm also a long-distance walker. In 2012 I mapped and walked an 800-mile route from Sonoma to San Diego, on Native pathways commonly known as El Camino Real. I fundraised for the effort and in turn wrote a free, online trail guide for the path. I've also participated in Native-led prayer walks including a 2017 relay from San Francisco to Washington DC and walks in Nevada and Minnesota.

Most recently I've worked as an outdoor educator in the SF/Marin Headlands, a backpacking trip leader, and a volunteer for an Amah Mutsun coastal grassland habitat restoration project.

Currently I'm painting bison murals along the historic migration route, from Mexico to Canada. We also publicize other buffalo artwork along the route, highlight organizations that are restoration herds, and share information about the importance of this keystone species to the land.
