Walks
Selected writing, interviews, and speaking engagements about some of my walks.
# Trail Guide Author
In 2011 I mapped a 750-mile walking route from from Huichi (Mission SF in Sonoma) to Kosa'aay (Mission San Diego), along what is commonly known as California’s El Camino Real.
I fundraised for the walk and in turn created a free, online trail guide available at walk-the-land.org. I walked the path from April 9-June 6, 2012.
# Interview
Interviewed about my walks for a book on history and memory by Prof. Alex Nemerov, Chair of the Art and Art History Department at Stanford. Featured in Ch. 4, "Stephanie and the Hornet." November 2017
